March came and went in the blink of an eye, but that didn't stop us from catching some of the biggest premieres this month!New movies like Shazam: Fury of the Gods and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves recently hit theaters, in addition to the second Murder Mystery, which aired on Netflix.We had the pleasure of working on the films Problemista, Down Low, and the series I’m A Virgo, all of which made their debuts at the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas, from March 10–March 19.Our mixers produced ADR for the newest seasons of Succession, Riverdale, the Law & Order trilogy, and the ten year return of Party Down, as well as new shows like Extrapolations and Gotham Knights. In other news, Season 1 of Alaska Daily (mixed at our F/T facility on Stage A) has wrapped up, and four of the films we worked on won Oscars spanning the categories of picture, sound, visual effects, and costume design! Soundtrack Boston
This month is one for the books! A new series, School Spirits, premiered on Paramount+, with ADR done by Dave Sicilian. Dave also worked on the ADR for The Boston Strangler, on Hulu, and on Creed III, which is in theaters now! The annual Oscars came around this month, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which featured more of Dave’s fantastic ADR work, was nominated for five awards, taking home the win for Best Costume Design. We're so proud to have been involved in such an influential film! We saw the season 7 release of Gabby’s Dollhouse on Netflix, with fabulous work done by Kevin McLaughlin. Kevin also provided ADR for Americana, which had its first showing at the South by Southwest film festival in Austin on March 17! On the commercial side of things, our amazing engineer Mike Secher continued his work recording and mixing for the Progressive TV Dad campaign. We’ve got lots of exciting things in the works for the upcoming months, so stay tuned for more releases!
